My favorite album of all time. Kim Deal is perfect. Pod is both elementary and entirely sophisticated at the same time. Steve Albini’s production is pristine throughout this compilation of songs written during Deal’s off time from the Pixies. Kurt Cobain also once named it as one of his three favorite records, and said it was ” …an epic to never forget your ex-girlfriend.”
